The Path Ahead. As young people, many are searching but few are finding. What is my direction? What is my path ahead? I want to be… With God, He will guide us into our desire for our path ahead. With Him, it is always, “I have found it, my path ahead.”

Fun, food, family, and fellowship. 6th October, we celebrated mid autumn with games, food, and competition. We have pomelo pealing competition, lantern making competition, and of course mooncake making competition. The children went out with the lanterns to lit up the sky of Johor Baru.
Saturday 16. Holiday! That means it is time for a fun day for the family. Our church family went to Mutiara Rini Park for a morning of fun and games. We had some Running Man types of games. God blessed us with a wonderful weather. No rain. Cloudy. Cooling. Truly, it was the answer to our prayers because in the last few days, we had been having heavy down pour. Thank you God for giving us a day of fantastic enjoyment.
A short video of our church retreat in Ipoh, Malaysia 2017. We had amusing fun, great food, fantastic fellowship, and awesome learning about faith and God. We grew closer together and learn how to be more spiritual. We thank the Ipoh church for hosting us.
Our Y2y ministry retreat in Singapore, Changi Aloha last December 2016. We had fun, grew spiritually, bonded with each other, and drew closer to God.
Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on month 8 day 15 of China’s lunar calendar (in September or October). Mid-Autumn Festival 2016 is on September 15. To many Chinese, it is still the second most important festival after Chinese New Year. It is a time where family members get together and be re-united with joy and laughter.
Lanterns are an important part of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Many children would go around the neighbourhood carrying their lanterns, which would light up the streets in beautiful colours. Our Church celebrated the Festival enjoying a wonderful time with our children ministry.
Walking around the dark streets with our lanterns reminded me of the scripture in Matthew 5:14-16 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Last December, our church had a day trip to Desaru. We had a full day of family fun, food, and fellowship. Below is a video that capture the moment.
